Meet the Owners
Richard Meadows & Becky Roland
Becky and her husband, Richard, were introduced to Chicken Salad Chick by their daughter and immediately fell in love with the chicken. After retiring from her pharmaceutical job in 2010, Becky was eager to start a new career and decided to contact the Chick’s founders, Kevin and Stacy Brown, to inquire about job opportunities.
Becky and Richard met with the Browns to discuss a new franchise program that was in the works. In January 2012, the couple signed a franchise agreement and became Chicken Salad Chick’s first franchise owners. Their business even turned into a family affair when their son, David, became The Wishbone Group, Inc.’s director of operations. This operating company owns a handful of stores.
One of Becky and Richard’s favorite things about being part of the Chick family is hearing guests tell them that their stores feel like home. The couple strives to ensure all of their guests receive high-quality food and warm hospitality.
