Meet the Chicks Who Inspire Our Recipes

At the heart of Chicken Salad Chick are all the Chicks who inspire us every day. The named flavors on the menu are named for the real people in Stacy’s life. She chose to create new spins on classic flavors in their honor, to reflect their personalities and connections. We show these real-life Chicks how much they mean to us by giving them a place on our menu, where our guests can get to know and love them as much as we do.

Classic Carol

Carol is the classic Southern lady. To know her is to feel comforted and loved. Kind of like my original chicken salad, with a familiar taste that resonates with anyone who grew up in the South.

Fancy Nancy

Honestly, I think this girl came into the world wearing a dress and fully accessorized. She can embellish anything with a touch of elegance and good taste.

Sassy Scotty

One day Scotty called to say “I’ve been your best friend since Kindergarten and you never named a salad after me. Well, you’re going to now and it’s going to have all the things I love. And you can call it Sassy Scotty.” Only a best friend could do that!

Olivia's Old South

Olivia is wise beyond her years. At just ten years old, she’s like the past, present and future of the South – with a taste for southern tradition that’s hard to come by in a girl her age. Keep it going, Olivia!

Fruity Fran

Whoever said that truth is a bitter pill to swallow never had a heart to heart with Aunt Fran. She tells it the way it is but with such a special touch: it never hurts to hear.

Lauryn's Lemon Basil

Things always come up roses for Lauryn. And tomatoes. And herbs. And marigolds. You name it, Lauryn can grow it beautifully. But her real talent is for blending a garden’s bounty into arrangements that brighten the lives around her.

If a spunky redhead happens to wander up to your table asking if you’ve tried her chicken salad, don’t be alarmed. That’s just my Aunt Rita, campaigning to get her recipe (my recipe, her name!) on our menu permanently.

Jalapeno Holly

Forget for a moment that Holly’s a fiercely competitive athlete, that she’ll set out to beat you at anything (and I mean anything) and that her determination can be hilariously over the top at times … and what you have is the most faithful, committed friend you could ever want.

Kickin' Kay Lynne

People have said this about Kay Lynne for as long as I’ve known her. She’s my fun-loving aunt with fiery red hair. She has a way of lighting up a room and making everyone in it feel just wonderful!

Buffalo Barclay

Let’s be honest, lending your name to a Buffalo recipe isn’t the most flattering opportunity for a chick. But Barclay isn’t most chicks. She’s my unflappable next door neighbor who always looks on the sunny side of things. The way she sees it, why wouldn’t you want to be named for one of our most requested chicken salads!

Cranberry Kelli

Perfectly sweet but never fake; outspoken but never pushy, Kelli is a teacher and a mom who keeps it all in balance, beautifully. And if that’s not enough, she also happens to be my sister-in-law!
