During their meeting, the Browns told Richard and Becky about their plans for a new franchise program and the couple signed the first Chicken Salad Chick franchise agreement in January 2012. Their business with the Chick turned into a family affair when their son, David Roland, became the director of operations for The Wishbone Group, Inc., an operating company that opened a handful of Chick locations.
