The founders of Chicken Salad Chick, Kevin and Stacy Brown, feel the most important character trait necessary to be able to run a successful “Chick” is to have a servant’s heart. Each franchise owner has been carefully selected and proven to be passionate about serving people. “Our Story” was written by Stacy when the very first Chicken Salad Chick opened and we thought it would be fun to share the stories of how our owners became involved.
Meet the Owners
Brady & Tiffany Dubberley
Tiffany Dubberley gained a reputation as a pharmaceutical rep that loved to provide catered lunches for local physicians and their staffs.
“I was received the Party Platter Queen award in 2009 from Stacy Brown because I used the catering services almost daily,” Tiffany says.
She was a great customer and a huge fan. So much so that when she and husband Brady heard that franchises were available for Chicken Salad Chick, they jumped at the chance to open a restaurant in their hometown - Columbus, Georgia. They found the perfect way to bring work-life balance to their lives and are able to spend more time with their daughter.
Their restaurant opened in October 2012 in The Landings in Columbus, the second franchise to open for the brand.
“The support that Columbus and the surrounding area has shown us is truly thrilling and we are so grateful,” Brady and Tiffany both claim.
What is a fun fact about yourself that your guests may not know?
Tiffany- Some of our Columbus customers may know this because they’ve known me since childhood. I attended Johnson Elementary School, Arnold Junior High and graduated from Hardaway High School. I am also a proud graduate of Columbus State University where I cheered many, many moons ago. Go Cougars!
Brady- Just months before buying the franchise, Brady had never tried chicken salad of any kind. Although he still doesn’t like mayonnaise on anything else, it would be fair to say that he’s addicted! He eats Chicken Salad Chick almost daily now.
Tell us about your favorite customer testimonial.
Time after time, our customers want to know if our chicken salad has “crack” in it. Why is it so addicting? They question themselves and sometimes even lower their head as they come in the door because they are here again for the third or fourth time this week. We love it and just chuckle along with them. Again, thank goodness for the 15 flavors!
